We are studying data in Maths at the minute. Today we braved the wind and went outside to conduct a survey of the colours of the cars in the staff carpark. We tallied the results and will be presenting them in a pictogram tomorrow! Today we took part in the One Million Trees initiative today! We were so lucky that we got to plant two trees after which our class is named - Birch trees! We named them Birchy and Lirchy and we cannot wait to watch them grow. We had lots of fun this morning practising our gymnastics skills - we are getting so good at our pencil rolls, balancing, tumbles and jumps! Today we even got to try using the trampette - it was brilliant! Wow! We did an amazing job performing 'Count on Me' - by Bruno Mars at assembly this morning as part of Friendship and kindness month! We are having so much fun visiting the Book Fair each day. The Book Fair will remain in school until Monday - books are available to buy before and after school.
This year P.E.T.N.S. is working on achieving our third Green Schools flag - the Water Flag! This afternoon we were working on some posters to promoting clean water and careful use of water. We did a great job! Well done to the children who carried out Random Acts of Kindness at home yesterday evening. They got to add a ribbon to the Kindness Wreath! We can't wait to hear stories of more Random Acts of Kindness both at home and in school!
