Well done to this weeks student of the week who showed great positive outlook and 'you can do it' attitude all week! Well done!
We explored some fruit and vegetables using our senses - feeling, looking, smelling, listening to each of the pieces. Next week we'll try out our sense of taste! We discussed all our food samples and sorted them into two categories - fruit or vegetable! Good work gang!
We visited the Forest School. We were so careful as we walked up to the Forest School - remembering our rules of the road. Then we went exploring - we met Grandmother and Grandfather trees; we looked for signs of animals; we spotted birds, spiders and mini-beasts (but sadly no squirrels!); we examined leaves, bark, seeds, snail shells and lots more! We are looking forward to more visits to the Forest School and learning about nature, out in nature! Today we had fun with fruit and vegetables! We had to close our eyes and put our hands into a bag; feel around for the piece of fruit or vegetable and then use lots of adjectives to describe it; then we guessed what it was! We did a great job of describing the fruit and vegetables and guessing what they might be. |
