Book Week is here and we have lots of events to mark it running in school this week. Here is a reminder of the events parents need to be aware of:
Strangest Place I Read a Book Photo Competition
Here at PETNS, we love reading! As part of our preparations to celebrate World Book Week, children are invited to share a photo of themselves reading a book in the strangest place they can think of! Photos can be given directly to class teachers or emailed to [email protected]. (Winners will be announced on 2nd March)
World Book Day - Character Dress-Up *Thursday 1st March *
For World Book Day children are invited to dress up as their favourite characters from a book for the day!
Shared Reading *Thursday 1st March at 13.30pm*
As part of Book Week, we are inviting parents to come into classes and read stories to the children. The stories can be anything at all - your favourite traditional stories, folk tales from around the world, in English or in your home language. We would be delighted to see you there!
