During our food themed month we conducted an experiement to discover which bread would go mouldy first! We were very resilient as we examined the bread samples as the smell was pretty bad!! The white bread grew some blue mould, but parts of it still felt fresh and it only smelled a little bit. The brown bread grew lots of white mould and then blue mould on top of it and smelt really bad. So we concluded that the brown bread sample went mouldy first - we realised that this is because there are more preservatives and additives in the white bread sample.
